Gangs of Wasseypur 2 Review: Just as many movies are being made in Bollywood these days that provides a good entertainment, Kashyap has given a good hit on the nail with his movie, Gangs of Wasseypur 2 to move the nails even deeper into a wood of mafia story. The Gangs of Wasseypur 2 smoothly begins reminding the audience about a squeal start, quickly hooks the viewer to await for the next revenge killing in the movie. The actors are well placed in their characters and handled well by Kashyap till each of them start to blossom to their purpose of remaining alive in the scenes. As any Bollywood movie would have to provide a ting of romance to pacify the Indian audience, love is well played with subtle blossom in a rough ride.
In Gangs of Wasseypur 2 the environment is beautifully captured, including the lingo, the mannerisms whether it’s the abject despair of the poor mine worker, condemned to live his life in the black shafts. The bestiality of the butcher, as he hacks away at his meat. The cowardice of the cops. The empty bravado of the minister’s goons. Or the naked lust as hungry men eye their next catch, the woman to slake their base desires, even as the wife lies at home, pregnant.
All Bollywood mafia story based movies try to use good swearing language in its dialogs. Gangs of Wasseypur 2 is equally good in dialogs to keep the audience hooked further to each scene. There is no scene that is boring or would want the audience to to seek an extra break. Overall a good movie with a well crafted soundtrack, detailed direction and screen play that aligns well. A good bloody entertainer, If you want something more than a usual Bollywood duet and love feud!
